Karen Gordon, Writer/Producer/Editor

Karen Gordon got her start in the video production business over twenty years  ago.   Over the last two decades she has produced hundreds of projects in a wide variety of industries from sports to manufacturing, both broadcast and industrial.                          

Gordon has been the driving force behind several successful video production start-ups.  In 1998 she launched her  latest venture, Gordon Productions.  She is considered to be one of the top motorsports editors in the country and has produced numerous award-winners in the motorsports arena.   Her skill set includes producing/directing, scriptwriting and editing.  Additionally her full range of experience includes expertise budgeting, scheduling and managing all aspects of production from pre-production meetings to final duplication.   She shows her versatility producing and editing everything from video news releases to commercials and long-director projects.   Her two decades of experience and ad agency background  adds a great marketing dimension to everything she produces.  For a more personal profile, she was featured in the Houston Business Journal Story April, 2000.

When she's not working (or working out) you'll likely find Karen riding her horse or in the kitchen whipping up a gourmet meal.

  Steven Kartholl, Cameraman/Director of Photography

Steve Kartholl has over twenty five years experience in all aspects of the television and broadcast video business.  On weekends you'll find Steve at various race tracks around the world from Monza to Talladega.  His work regularly appears on the Speed Channel, CBS Sports, FOX, NBC Sports, ESPN, ESPN2 and other networks and cable channels.

Steve got his start in television in 1971 and in 1973 became the newscast director at a network affiliate in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  After a stint as production manager at WDBO Orlando in 1981, Kartholl co-owned several production facilities including Image Resources, Orlando's largest production facility.  In 1990 Kartholl decided to pursue the end of the video business he loved the most, behind the camera covering his favorite subject material, motorsports.  Over the last dozen years he has shot virtually every type of auto racing event and is considered one of the foremost racing photographers on the planet.  In addition, Steve shoots hydroplanes, air races, water ski and wakeboard events, golf,  plus a host of other projects including commercial and industrial presentations.

When he's not shooting cars, you can find Steve traipsing Northern California's vineyards tasting wine or playing golf.
